At the beginning of October, I was invited to the Austin Food Blogger Alliance Happy Hour at the 1606 E Food Truck Park. Usually, my good friend and fellow Austinot Writer, Jolleen Jernigan, rolls solo to these meetups, but she was offered a +1, and I jumped at the opportunity to join her. Throughout the evening, five food trucks (Poke Me Long Time, Chopped and Skewed, Lucky’s Puccias, Dolce Bacio Gelato, and Austin Halal) shared their edible creations and stories with us making for an exceptional experience.
As always, seeing eating is believing, so whether you’re looking for Mediterranean, Italian, Poke, Gelato, or comfort food, look to this culinary destination to satisfy your hunger.
