This isn’t just a Christmas tree, it’s the Christmas tree! The mother of all trees is located in the heart of Austin—Zilker Park. You can gawk at it anytime now until December 31 from 6 pm -12 pm. And don’t forget to spin under it—it’s an Austin tradition ya know!

Located in front of Macy’s sits a decked-out 40-foot Christmas tree that’s hard to miss and even harder not to stop and stare at.

4. Hill Country Galleria

6. Highway 360 Trees
One of my absolute favorite Austin Christmas traditions is to go see the cedars that line the highway just before the Pennybacker Bridge. Year after year, they’re decorated in quirky Austin fashion. I’ve seen trees adorned with running shoes, underwear, and giant plastic bees made out of plastic water jugs.

7. The Driskill

Oooh, such a fun blog post! Zilker Tree Lighting is one of my favorite family-friendly events each year. Also, I was driving up I35 yesterday and saw a giant tree at the Round Rock Outlets…could be another fun one to see!
