Breaking news: Hard Kombucha is now a thing. Well, perhaps, it’s been a thing, and I’ve just been living under a rock. Either way, brands like Flying Embers, Kyla Hard, June Shine, and Boochcraft are on the grocery store shelves and packing a bubbly tea-based punch.
In the past, I’ve been guilty of mixing champagne and kombucha to make uber bubbly mimosas, so needless to say, hard kombucha has been really exciting news! To be honest, it’s like someone read my mind.
Recently, the generous people at Flying Embers so graciously sent me a six-pack of their product so I could sample flavors like Grapefruit Thyme, Ancient Berry, Oak & Ginger, Lemon Orchard, Pineapple Chili, and Black Cherry. In addition to supreme effervescence and tantalizing flavor, these canned drinks contain live probiotics, adaptogens, and zero grams of sugar. They’re also gluten-free. After one sip of the Grapefruit and Thyme, I was hooked and after one sip— I think you will be too!
