Hay Elotes

Good news! Hay Elotes has reopened after their summertime hiatus and you can get your chamoy fix once again down on E.7th.

Hay Elotes first came on my radar in Summer 2017 when I played photographer for fellow writer at The Austinot. Since then, the little lime green establishment has been my go-to when I desperately need to cool down from the Austin heat. There’s just something about the sweet/spicy/savory combination of a mangonada that is so refreshing and I just can’t get enough. Try one for yourself!
